Our series is known to have great balance between theory and practice allowing you to arrive the day of your birth knowledgeable and confident, outfitted with a vast variety of labor support tools. Couples tell us they especially appreciate the practical approach that goes beyond what is typically covered in basic books or classes.
Included in this series:

- options regarding labor variations
- pain management
- informed consent
- complications and medical interventions
Visual aids and films add a true view of labor and delivery with its many variations and personal coping techniques. Our small group size allows for more individual attention and time to discuss topics of concern. You will come away with a clear understanding of labor on the physical as well as emotional level.
Blossom understands the importance of creating a community of support and camaraderie for the transition into parenthood. Each Childbirth Prep Session will end with a potluck with new parents as special guests to share their recent birth stories and experiences. A few months after the class ends, we will host a reunion for classmates to reconnect and meet the new babies! Experienced Blossom Moms tell us the Community at Blossom sets us apart from other birth classes in the area.
Our Series is offered in two formats: The Evening Series meets once weekly for five weeks on a weeknight evening from 6:30- 9:00pm. The Weekend Series meets once weekly for three weeks on a Saturday or Sunday from 2:00- 6:00pm. We recommend that you finish your classes at least one month before your due date.
