Blossom Babies 0-6 months

Tuesdays from 1:30- 3:00pm

In this facilitated group you can network with other new parents and learn tips on baby care, sleep, feeding, and encouraging infant development. Questions are answered and ideas exchanged in a safe and respectful environment.

Expectant moms are welcome and encouraged to come learn what awaits them after the birth of their child!

Blossom Mixed Ages

Tuesdays from 10:00- 11:30am

Come join us as we cover such important issues as preparing healthy meals, options for teaching and discipline, baby play and development, and balancing responsibilities inside and outside the home. Other topics include adjustments in the couple relationship, changing sexuality, weaning, sleep, and parent burnout.

Pregnancy and Post Partum Moods and Challenges

Mondays from 10:00- 11:30

Join this drop-in discussion group on the challenges and mood changes that you may be feeling in your pregnancy and after birth. You will find a relaxed and welcoming environment at Blossom for discussing these unexpected feelings. Some women in the group may have a diagnosis of prenatal or post partum anxiety or depression while others may just find the challenges of motherhood different than expected.

Please join us with or without your baby!

Breastfeeding Support

Wednesdays from 1:45- 3:00pm.

Of course Breastfeeding is natural, but it doesn't always come naturally. Perhaps you need help getting your baby to latch better, you're unsure your baby is getting enough to eat, your little one has decided to use you as a teether, or maybe you're not even sure what the problem is...Drop-in for one-on-one support and troubleshooting within a group setting. Moms who are doing just fine and would like to connect with other breastfeeding moms are welcome, too.

Parents Again!?

Unfortunately, this group is on haitus for the moment. If you are interested, please contact our office at 650-321-2326 or blossom@blossombirth.org so that we may find a convenient time to organize the group. We apologize for any inconvenience. In the meantime, please enjoy our 0-6 Month group or Mixed Ages group.

Whether you are parenting more than one child or just thinking about going for #2, this group is for you! We will discuss any and all topics which pertain to having more than one child, from the emotional impact to the practical issues like juggling bedtime with two (or more!). Babies and toddlers are welcome to play in our baby-safe room with toys to entertain, and feel free to bring your older children as well.

Expectant moms are welcome and encouraged to come learn what awaits them after the birth of their second child!

Working Parents Group

Fourth Sundays from 11:00am- 12:30pm.

Please note: Working Parents will no longer be meeting on the Second Sundays as of Jan 2012.

There are special challenges facing parents who work outside the home. The Working Parents Group offers the opportunity to connect with other parents, receive and share practical advice and express frustrations and joys in a relaxed, nonjudgmental environment.

Please join us with or without your baby!
