Blossom Babies 0-6 monthsMondays from 11:30 am- 1:00 pm In this facilitated group you can network with other new parents and learn tips on baby care, sleep, feeding, and encouraging infant development. Questions are answered and ideas exchanged in a safe and respectful environment. Expecting moms are welcome and encouraged to come learn what awaits them after the birth of their child! |

Come join us as we cover such important issues as preparing healthy meals, options for teaching and discipline, baby play and development, and balancing responsibilities inside and outside the home. Other topics include adjustments in the couple relationship, changing sexuality, weaning, sleep, and parent burnout. |

Pregnancy and Post Partum Moods and ChallengesWednesdays from 10:00- 11:30 Join this drop-in discussion group on the challenges and mood changes that you may be feeling in your pregnancy and after birth. You will find a relaxed and welcoming environment at Blossom for discussing these unexpected feelings. Some women in the group may have a diagnosis of prenatal or post partum anxiety or depression while others may just find the challenges of motherhood different than expected. Breastfeeding SupportWednesdays from 1:30- 3:00pm. Of course Breastfeeding is natural, but it doesn't always come naturally. Perhaps you need help getting your baby to latch better, you're unsure your baby is getting enough to eat, your little one has decided to use you as a teether, or maybe you're not even sure what the problem is...Drop-in for one-on-one support and troubleshooting within a group setting. Moms who are doing just fine and are passionate to offer their support are welcome, too. | ||||||||||||
Working Parents GroupSecond Saturday from 11:00am- 12:30pm. There are special challenges facing parents who work outside the home. The Working Parents Group offers the opportunity to connect with other parents, receive and share practical advice and express frustrations and joys in a relaxed, nonjudgmental environment. Twins Mixed Ages Support GroupFirst and Third Thursdays from 3:00- 4:30 pm First class is free, $15 drop-in, $10 drop-in for MPPOM Members* Faciliated by twin mom, Michelle Darby Ross, this group is for parents of young twins. In a safe, respectful, nurturing environment you will have the opportunity to receive collective support from other twin parents. Everyone will have a chance to share their own unique experience and find out how other twin parents are managing. Feel free to come with or without your babies. We will also have guest speakers periodically, covering topics of interest. |
