Blossom Babies 0-6 monthsTuesdays from 1:30- 3:00pm In this facilitated group you can network with other new parents and learn tips on baby care, sleep, feeding, and encouraging infant development. Questions are answered and ideas exchanged in a safe and respectful environment. Expectant moms are welcome and encouraged to come learn what awaits them after the birth of their child! Blossom 6-18 monthsTuesdays from 10:00- 11:30am Come join us as we cover such important issues as preparing healthy meals, options for teaching and discipline, baby play and development, and balancing responsibilities inside and outside the home. Other topics include adjustments in the couple relationship, changing sexuality, weaning, sleep, and parent burnout. Blossom Toddlers 18-36 monthsThursdays from 10:00- 11:30am Your baby is growing and so are you! Connect with other parents of toddlers on topics such as separation anxiety, tantrums, mealtime, sleep issues, thinking about preschool and more! Pregnancy and Post Partum Moods and ChallengesMondays from 10:00- 11:30 Join this drop-in discussion group on the challenges and mood changes that you may be feeling in your pregnancy and after birth. You will find a relaxed and welcoming environment at Blossom for discussing these unexpected feelings. Some women in the group may have a diagnosis of prenatal or post partum anxiety or depression while others may just find the challenges of motherhood different than expected. Please join us with or without your baby! Breastfeeding ConnectionsWednesdays from 11:30am- 1:00pmOf course Breastfeeding is natural, but it doesn't always come naturally. Building community with other nursing mothers is often all that is needed to find breastfeeding success! Whether you are struggling with your breastfeeding experience and are looking to troubleshoot or you simply want to let your guard down and nurse in a non-judgmental, breastfeeding-friendly atmosphere, this is the group for you! Take advantage of the opportunity to address issues such as improving latch, knowing your baby is getting enough to eat, transitioning back to work, how to get anything done when it feels like you are constantly nursing, and much more in a group setting with expertise from group leader, Michelle Paul Vogel, IBCLC. All nursing mothers are welcome- whether your baby is a newborn or a toddler and whether or not you need breastfeeding help, come enjoy the company of other breastfeeding moms! Working Parents Group
There are special challenges facing parents who work outside the home. The Working Parents Group offers the opportunity to connect with other parents, receive and share practical advice and express frustrations and joys in a relaxed, nonjudgmental environment. Please join us with or without your baby! BYOB (Bring Your Own Baby)- Meet Up for Dads
We are looking for one or two enthusiastic dads to volunteer to lead BYOB. Some ideas would be to meet at Blossom and walk to the park, hiking trips, bike rides, or grabbing pizza and beer, coffee, or ice cream at one of the nearby restaurants. Try Blossom's new unfacilitated drop-in Play Groups providing an opportunity for moms to get together, chat, see old friends and make new ones in our comfortable and safe space. Pack a lunch or stop by one of the many nearby cafés afterwards. Blossom is your place for a fun and easy mom & baby outing! FREE for members, $5 for non-members. |
